We are experiencing pure anti-snake propaganda! We’ve been spamming their habitat with criminizing warning signs against our poor no-legged friends. Yet in our own refuge, the human-nest, or city, if you will, we are in far greater danger! We have war and terrorism of course, but it’s far more likely you’ll get run over, stabbed or poisoned by a loved one. On global average, about 6.7 million people die by our own hands. Snakes don’t even have hands and thats why they only kill 140.000 of us on a yearly basis. So it’s seems we’re turning poor snakey in a typical scapegoat with all these forest signs. But by this logic every streetcorner should be filled with beware of poisoning, clawing, biting, driving, shooting and exploding humans. Even doctors. So let this be a friendly reminder that you’re safer becoming friends or lovers with ol’ snake than any human, ever.
