As William Gibson once said, the future is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed. So was the case of future Eindhoven in my dreams, but all it needed was a little relocation, and here we are. NEO EHV 8 is a year long collection of Eindhoven by night, comprised many walks after dark, and of more than 200 photolayers and hours and hours of works. Fun sidenote; this work is gigantic and can be printed to over 3 meters wide. (I just don’t have a van that’s big enough yet)
The NEO EHV series are a photographic exploration of Eindhoven, and what it could be like in the future. Inspired by the Neo Noir genre and many works from creators like Ridley Scott and Katsuhiro Otomo, these collages come forth from both excitement and fear at the same time. All assets used in the NEO EHV collages are generated by photography at real-life locations and objects in Eindhoven; from oil spills to shooting stars to flying cars.
The NEO EHV series are printed on polyester stretched over a matte black aluminum frame, back-lit with LED-light to give it a vibrant and immersive feel. This way the streets of NEO EHV really come to life. Available in 1900x800mm. All frames are delivered with a wireless remote, and come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
When not exhibited in a gallery, artworks can be acquired directly through kasvanvliet.eu
